"Winter
Lyric"
20"x16" Oil on Linen
An idyllic landscape from the Superior Forest near Gooseberry
Falls, on Minnesota's Lake Superior. The scene was from a
trip taken about 17 years ago with my family in late April. In
the painting I added the sunset and the melting snow adding a sense of
drama and interest, using the image that I shot on
location. |

On a warm winter's day, a pleasant walk among the white pines

deal with some cabin fever! |

An autumn trailride is spectacular through the maple forest.
The maples are tapped in the spring for the syrup and its ohh so
good. But my favorite time is the autumn, the leaves look like they are on
fire!
